One of my favorite underrated shows returns this Sunday on HBO. Bored to Death follows the semi-real life adventures of writer Jonathan Ames posing as an unlicensed private detective (Jason Schwartzman) along with friends played by Zach Galifianakis and Ted Danson. It’s hilarious and writerly, in a good way.
